How GPA is calculated
Each grade is turned into points (A = 4.0, B+ = 3.3 and so on), multiplied by the subject’s credits, added up, then divided by the total credits. Subjects with more credits count for more. Schools differ slightly, so check your own grading table if a number looks off. You can also use 10-point scales or plain percentages.
